Amazon Best Buys - May 2020
Hi friends! Hard to believe it is Memorial Day weekend and June is almost here. I am sharing my Amazon Best Buys for May, and these posts are always some of your favorites (and mine too!). The month, I found a mix of fashion, household and beauty items. I will start with the fashion finds, then share the household and beauty items further down this post. As always, I am sharing any sizing details under each photo, as well as links to purchase each piece.
FASHION FINDS
GRAPHIC RINGER TEE \\ BLACK DENIM SHORTS \\ TILE BRACELETS HERE & HERE
First up is this fun GRAPHIC RINGER TEE. I love the bright pink color and the ringer style with white trim around the arms and neck. I find that the tee runs true to size, and I am wearing a medium which is my usual size for t-shirts.
I am a sucker for anything with ruffles, so I was excited to try this RUFFLE SLEEVE BLOUSE. It is a nice light weight and has a great sleeve length, especially for anyone who is not a fan of showing their upper arms. This could easily be dressed up with pants for work or worn with jeans or shorts for a more casual look. The blouse runs true to size and I am wearing a medium.
EMBROIDERED TOP \\ TILE BRACELETS HERE & HERE
This EMBROIDERED TOP may look familiar, as I also have it in black and green and have shared it on the blog before. I love it so much I bought it in a third color! The top is such great quality and you would never know that it only costs $22. I suggest going with your usual size. I am either a small or medium in tops and am wearing a medium here. The small also fits, but I prefer the more flowy fit of the medium. There are 2 other tops by the same brand with different embroidery styles and you can find those HERE & HERE. The TILE BRACELETS I am wearing here are another Amazon find. A set of two is around $18 & you can find my two sets HERE & HERE.
I love wearing dainty necklaces and this INITIAL BUTTERFLY NECKLACE is a great buy from Amazon. I have worn it by itself and have also layered with longer necklaces. This would also make a great gift and is super affordable at under $15.
It is no secret I love wearing bold colors, and this GRAPHIC TEE is such a pretty magenta shade. It is brighter in person than it appears on line. The tee runs true to size, but I sized up to have more length and room to knot it.
Amazon is a great place to find affordable trendy SUNGLASSES. I bought these recently and think they are such good quality! They are under $20 and also come in a few other colors including black.
Last but certainly not least in the fashion category is this WILLIE NELSON TEE. I haven’t really jumped on the band tee trend, but couldn’t resist this one with Willie on it! It is a light weight stretchy material and is affordably priced at under $20. I find that it runs true to size and am wearing my regular size medium. If you want a more roomy fit, I suggest sizing up.
BEAUTY FINDS
I have heard people talk about this SELF TANNER FOAM and finally decided to try it myself. I have to say I am a big fan! It is such a natural shade and does not turn your skin orange as some self tanners do. I used the “dark” shade and did not find it to be dark at all. You can see in the photo above that my before and after is very subtle even after using the dark shade. I have a pretty light complexion, so I would suggest getting the dark shade unless your skin is extremely fair.
I recommend this TANNING MIT to use with the tanning foam. It helps you apply the foam evenly and you don’t have to worry about having discolored hands! It also comes with an exfoliating glove and a smaller mit to use while applying tanner on your face. This mit has 2500 5-star reviews, is under $10 and works just as good as other tanning mits that are twice the price.
I have heard so much about these little FACE RAZORS so I recently gave them a try. They exfoliate your face by removing hair and dead skin. I hold one at a 45 degree angle and swipe it from the outside to the inside of my face. My skin felt and looked smoother after I did this and I’m now hooked! A pack of 3 razors costs around $5 and I definitely plan to add this to my skin care regimen once a week.
HOUSEHOLD ITEMS
I have been doing so many video calls for work in the last few months since working from home. I finally decided to get a RING LIGHT to use during my video calls and it has made such a difference! This is one of the most affordable options I found at around $50 and it has tons of 5-star reviews. I just set it on my desk next to my computer when doing calls, and you can also attach your phone to take photos and videos that way.
Every time I am on Amazon, I find a new gadget for my house! This month I found this set of MAGNETIC MEASURING SPOONS. I am always misplacing measuring spoons in my drawer, so I love that these stay together with magnets.
I found several other random items on Amazon recently including this BOLSTER PILLOW. I sleep with it under my knees to help with occasional back and hip pain. I bought this INSULATED KOOZIE that is made for thinner and taller cans like Trulys. It definitely keeps cans cooler than a standard koozie. I also like this set of 8 ROASTING SKEWERS that we have used to roast marshmallows over our new fire pit. They each have a different color on them so everyone can easily spot which one is theirs.
