September 2022 Best Sellers

I am looking forward to the start of a new month, as fall (and October in particular) is always one of my favorite times of the year. I love the changing leaves and we spend a lot of time in the mountains each October which always makes me happy. As always, with the start of a new month, I am rounding up the best sellers to see what Smart Southern Style readers purchased the most. In September there was a clear winner for the most purchased item. Not only was this piece the best seller of the month, but it is actually the top seller of any item I have ever shared in almost 5 years! You all have gone crazy over this item, and I can see why. Read on to see what the best seller is this month.

**10.** **RED AND WHITE BLOUSE** - This pattern on this top is so fun and I love the blousy fit. This top would be great for game day if you cheer for a school that has red and white as it’s colors. Top has a slightly oversized fit, but I recommend sticking with your regular size. I am in a medium.

9. **FREE PEOPLE MAXI DRESS** - The print on this dress is gorgeous! It comes in 6 different patterns that are all perfect for fall. My color (ruby red) is no longer available, but there are plenty of other beautiful prints. The dress runs small so I recommend sizing up. (I sized up to a large.) The fit is flattering with an adjustable drawstring at the waist and it looks great layered with a denim jacket.

8. **FLUTTER SLEEVE TOP** - The colors in this top are perfect for fall. (My print is called multicolor floral.) The faux pearl buttons and flutter sleeves are both nice feminine touches. Wear it by itself when it is warm outside and layer with a blazer or cardigan when it is cooler. The top runs true to size and I am in a medium.
7. **SKINNY JEANS** - I have shared these jeans with you all so much because they are still may favorite jeans. I have them in 3 different washes and love the fit! They have elastic inside the waistband for a comfortable fit. The jean run true to size.

6. **TUNIC SWEATER** - This sweater is a top seller on Amazon and I can see why. It looks great with leggings or jeans and comes in so many colors. It runs large, so I recommend sizing down. (I am in a small) Note: The actual color of the sweater is brighter than it appears here and the Amazon photo is a more accurate depiction of the color.

5. **FLORAL TOP** - The colors in this top are so beautiful and perfect for fall! It looks great with black jeans or pants and can be dressed up or down. Runs true to size and I am in a medium.

4. **T-SHIRT DRESS** - This dress is so comfortable and versatile. It is easy to layer with jackets, blazers and cardigans as it gets cooler. Dress runs true to size and comes in several colors.

3. **CROPPED JEANS** - These $28 Target jeans are a great alternative to skinny jeans. I like the slight crop (I am 5’5”) and the high waist is flattering yet still comfortable. Jeans run true to size and come in several washes.

2. **SWISS DOT MIDI DRESS** - This dress is one of the best fashion items I’ve found on Amazon in a long time! So flattering and versatile. Runs true to size and comes in lots of colors. It looks great layered with a denim jacket too!

1. **CARGO JOGGERS** - These joggers are the ALL TIME BEST SELLER in the history of Smart Southern Style! They are so comfortable and are easy to throw on and still look put together. They are affordably priced at $30 and come in 8 colors. Run true to size.
