Top 10 Best Sellers of 2024
Happy New Year, friends! Hard to believe 2024 has come to an end. I want to thank you all for following along with me on social media, whether you are new here or have been following along since I started Smart Southern Style over 7 years ago. I appreciate your support so much, as following me on social media, liking and commenting on my posts and shopping through my links is what keeps this little corner of the internet up and running.
I love rounding up your best sellers each year, as it is always so fun to see what you all loved the most. This year, your Top 10 includes some great basics and one item that made the annual best seller list for the second year in a row. So, let’s count down the 10 most purchased (& still in stock) items of 2024!
#10 BEST SELLER: DUFFEL BAG (in rose quartz) // SUITCASE (in glossy atlas pink) // BELT BAG (use code LAURA20)
10. CALPAK DUFFEL: This duffel bag is absolutely the best carry-on bag on the planet and worth every penny. It holds so much, yet still fits under the airplane seat. It comes with a front pocket perfect for a laptop, a side pocket for a water bottle and has a strap to stay secure on the handle of a suitcase. The bag comes in over 15 colors and I have the color “rose quartz”. Everyone in my family owns one in a different color and we bring them every time we travel.
#9 BEST SELLER: SUNGLASSES // #8 BEST SELLER: SWIMSUIT // SUNHAT
9. AMAZON SUNGLASSES: These square shaped sunglasses are my most worn, by far. They have a flattering fit on every face shape and come in 5 different colors. (I have the color "tortoise”.) The sunglasses look much more expensive than the under $20 price.
8. AMAZON ONE-SHOULDER SWIMSUIT: This is an excellent quality swimsuit and you cannot beat the under $40 price. It comes in over 20 colors and my color is called “color block”. The ruching makes it so flattering and I love that it has good bum coverage. This swimsuit definitely has an elevated look and I get compliments every time I wear it.
#7 BEST SELLER: HALTER NECK DRESS (runs big, size down) // #6 BEST SELLER: STRAPLESS BRA // BLACK CLUTCH PURSE
7. HALTER NECK MAXI DRESS: I cannot say enough good things about this dress that came in at your 7th most purchased item. It is absolutely stunning with beautiful vibrant colors. The halter neckline and fit are incredibly flattering, and it is perfect for any special occasion. I wore it twice this year and both times I received endless compliments. It really is that good! It is currently on sale for over half off and around $100. Be sure to size down, as it runs big.
6. STRAPLESS BRA: With this dress, I am wearing the worlds-best strapless bra. It is hands-down the best for support, especially if you have a larger chest. This bra is the only item in the Top 10 that also made the best seller list in 2023. It runs true to size and I highly recommend it!

5. AVARA BLACK JEANS: This pair of cropped black denim is one of my most worn, and you all loved them this year too. They have a high waist, a cropped unfinished hem and just the right amount of stretch. They run a bit generous, so I recommend sizing down if you are in between sizes. At the time I am publishing this post, they are on sale too!
#4 BEST SELLER: DENIM TOP (true to size) // NECKLACE // SIMILAR SNEAKERS
4. ANTHROPOLOGIE DENIM TOP: A denim shirt is a great closet staple and this one is so cute with the puff sleeves. It has a flattering fit and runs true to size. The top looks great dressed up or down and can easily be layered under a jacket as well. It comes in both a dark and light wash and I have the “denim light” color.
#3 BEST SELLER: FLARE JEANS // LACE TOP (on sale! size down if in between, in a small) // SUNGLASSES
3. AVARA FLARE JEANS: These light wash jeans were a favorite this year, especially in the spring and summer months. The high waist and flare legs are incredibly flattering, and they have the perfect amount of stretch. The jeans run true to size.
#2 BEST SELLER: MARY JANES (color shown is black multi) // MOCK NECK TOP (size down if in between, in a small)
2. MARY JANE SHOES: Y’all went crazy for these shoes! They come in several prints and are so comfortable. The shoes are by Sam Edelman, so they are excellent quality and run true to size. The color shown here (black multi) is on sale at the time I am publishing this post.

1. AMAZON MAXI DRESS: This flattering maxi dress was your most purchased item of 2024 and I can see why. It is incredibly comfortable, soft and flattering. The dress is a great basic that can be styled casual or dressy and it comes in 12 colors. It has pockets too! I find that the dress runs big, as I am in a small and have plenty of room. With a price under $30, I will definitely be grabbing a second color!
