Face Mask Review
If you had told me 6 months ago that I would be reviewing face masks on my fashion blog, I would have thought you were crazy! Oh how times have changed! Since face coverings are required to go most anywhere these days, I decided it was worth trying a few different styles to decide which ones are the most comfortable (while still being stylish). I have reviewed face masks from several retailers and am sharing my thoughts, along with a link to shop and pricing details, under each photo. The words that are bolded in aqua are links, so just click on the word and it will take you to the retailer’s website to shop.
This LEOPARD FACE MASK is probably the most comfortable one I have. It is a soft stretchy material and has 2 layers of fabric. The fabric wraps around your ears and provides good coverage. There is an opening between the 2 layers of fabric if you want to insert a filter. It is easy to breathe in too! This one is is from a small business on Etsy and is priced around $12. The print I have is called “small leopard”.
If you are looking for a really affordable option, this PINK FACE MASK from Target is a great bet. It is only $2 and is the most affordable I have found anywhere. There is elastic that goes around the ears and it has a comfortable fit. This one does not have a filter insert. The pink color is out of stock right now but it comes in a bunch of other colors. My daughter has some kids sized masks in the same style that she really likes and you can find those HERE & HERE.
These masks are part of a FLORAL MASK 5 PACK. I love the material of these Tory Burch masks! They are made with a wicking material similar to a bathing suit, so they are easy to breathe in. There is adjustable elastic around the ears. The masks come in a set of 5 for $35. All of the patterns are pretty and will be nice as we transition to fall. The masks have 2 layers of fabric with a filter insert. They also have a nose wire that is very flexible and comfortable. There are 2 different pattern options and I love the set I got so much that I am tempted to get the other set as well.
Another affordable option is this OLD NAVY MASK. It is part of a pack of 5 and there are lots of patterns to choose from. These masks are a single layer with no filter insert. They have elastic around the ears and are adjustable to fit various face sizes. I did not find these to fit quite as well as the leopard and Tory Burch masks, but they are still a great affordable option. These masks are reasonably priced at $12.50 for a pack of 5 or $25 for a pack of 10.
One of the cutest styles I have found is these EMBROIDERED FACE MASKS. I thought they were so pretty so I purchased both white and green. These are hand made from a small business on Etsy and have nice high quality embroidery on them. Because of the stitched embroidery, the masks are thicker than others and not quite as flexible. Because they are thicker, I probably would not choose these masks if I had to wear them all day. I would still recommend them though, as they are beautiful and comfortable. The embroidered masks come with a filter and are $10 each and available in 10 different colors.
Last but not least is this FLORAL FACE MASK. I have shared this one on my social media a few times and a bunch of you have purchased it. It has a more structured shape and fits under the chin. There is a filter insert and the ear straps are adjustable. It has a nose wire and fits great! I found this mask from a small business on Etsy and it is priced around $15.
