Spring Transition Tops

Hi everyone!  I don't know about you all, but I am READY for spring and warmer temps!  However, I don't think I will be able to put away all of my sweaters and long sleeve tops for a little while longer.  As the seasons change, it is sometimes tough to figure out what to wear, don't you think?  If you are looking for ideas as the seasons transition,  I found a few tops that are 3/4 sleeve length and perfect as spring draws near.  In general, I think lightweight long sleeve tops and 3/4 sleeve tops are great options during this time of year.

The first choice I found is this pretty solid green top.  It has a flattering square neckline and full sleeves.  Here I paired it with some jeans, gold mules and a statement tassel necklace.  This shirt would also look fantastic with white denim!  You could pair this top with some shorts or a denim skirt as it gets warmer.  St. Patrick's Day will be here next month, and this shirt will be the perfect thing to wear so you don't get pinched!

This lightweight striped bell sleeve sweater is another great choice during this time of year.  The sweater has some grey and blush tones in it, so you could easily pair it with either of those colors.  I chose to wear it with this cute grey ruffle skirt and added some blush tassel earrings to bring out that color in the sweater.  As the temps rise, I plan to wear this sweater with some denim shorts and sandals for a more casual look.

And sticking with the bell sleeve trend, this navy and white striped top is SO fun and will be in heavy rotation this spring.   This top is so versatile!  I paired it with jeans, but will also wear it with white denim, and even red pants or shorts for 4th of July.  I love pairing navy with brighter colors, so I chose these bright fuchsia flats and some turquoise and fuchsia jewelry.  Navy and white also look great with gold, red, emerald green...the possibilities are endless!

I hope this post gave you a few ideas about tops to wear as we transition to spring.  I would love to hear if you decide to add any of these shirts to your wardrobe!  Feel free to comment below or send me an email.  As always, thank you so much for reading Smart Southern Style!
