Valentine's Day Outfit Ideas

Hi everyone! Can you believe we are already well in to February?!?  I feel like this year is flying!  Valentine’s Day will be here next week, so I wanted to share a few outfit ideas for you to wear on Love Day.  Whether you are spending the day with the man in your life or your favorite gal pals, it’s still a fun excuse to dress in some festive Valentine’s colors!  I love wearing red year round, so I’m all in for any occasion to wear that color!  And even if you aren’t a fan of wearing a lot of red or pink, there is still a way you can incorporate some of it into your outfit.

If you have plans for a nice dinner out, a pretty red dress is always a good option.  I chose one with ruffle sleeves, because as you may know, I LOVE a good ruffle sleeve!   I paired my dress with these pretty nude studded heels.  They are great dupes for the Valentino heels but only cost $70!  (They also come in black, so if you are looking for a sassy heel, you should definitely check them out.)  I love wearing red and leopard together, so I added this leopard clutch for a little pop.   Because my dress, shoes and purse are all fairly bold, I opted for more subtle gold jewelry.

A bold red dress isn’t for everyone, so a fun red or pink top is always a great way to add some Valentine’s colors to your outfit.  This red tee has the cutest flutter sleeves which make it a little dressier than your standard t-shirt.  I dressed it up with a statement necklace, some leopard heels and a fun jeweled bag.  If you have some or all of these pieces in your closet, you can pair them together and boom…you are ready for a fun night out!

For those of you who may not be a fan of wearing red or pink clothes, there is still a way to add these colors to an outfit for Valentine’s Day.  I added a burgundy scarf and bag to this basic black dress to add some color.  You could easily take a black dress or top in your closet and add a colorful red or pink scarf and you are ready to go. I have linked a few scarf options above.

I hope this post was helpful in providing a little Valentine’s style inspiration.  If you end up wearing something you saw in this post, please send me an email or DM me a photo on Instagram or Facebook if you have one.  I’d love to see what you wore!  Hope you all have a wonderful Valentine’s Day with your loved ones!
